Answers to Your Catering Questions

Do I need to guarantee a certain number of guests to book the room?
We understand that it is very difficult to know how many guests you will have so many months in advance. With this in mind, we have a food and beverage expenditure amount, which will give you the maximum flexibility within your budget.

Are you a private club?
Bristow Manor is a semi-private club, which means that you can still enjoy the private atmosphere of the clubhouse and the grounds. There are no restrictions in booking your event here.

What is your deposit policy?
We understand that there are a lot of demands on your bank account during the planning stages. We require just two deposits: the first deposit is due upon the signing of your contract and the second deposit is due six months prior to your scheduled event date. That’s all until your final payment, two weeks prior to your wedding, unless you prefer to pay additional deposits as you go.

How can I pay my deposits?
We have no restrictions on how you pay your deposits. We will accept a variety of payment options-cashier’s check, personal check, cash or credit card.

How many other weddings will I share the Manor House with?
We will only host one wedding at a time in the Manor House and Banquet Hall. You will have the comfort of knowing that the staff is looking after you and your guests. You will not have another large party sharing your event space or photo opportunities.

What is your pricing?
We have a wide variety of pricing to fit your needs. Our price range is quite broad due to the fact that we have wedding packages to choose from. In addition, we encourage you to customize your reception by offering upgrade options, so you can receive exactly what you want.

Do I have to rent equipment for my reception?
We have all the equipment to service your reception, including tables, chairs, silverware, china, stemware and several colors of linens for you to choose from. We are also able to upgrade any of these for you at an additional cost.

May we have a golf outing at your course for our guests?
Yes you may, and you get one complimentary round when you book your wedding at Bristow Manor. Our Ken Killian designed course is a true jewel offering 18 unique and challenging holes in a superbly crafted, simply gorgeous setting.

Do you have a ceremony area and outdoor facilities?
Our Manor House makes a stunning backdrop for a ceremony hosted on our front lawn. Your guests can mingle inside the house or in our 2000 sq. ft. banquet hall.  Your guests will enjoy the many views including the lakes on our golf course and the front lawn surrounded by beautiful seasonal flowers.

When can I have my reception?
We do not have a specific day of the week for the receptions. We follow your lead and work with you to accommodate your timetable for either a daytime or evening event. If you have a couple of hours lag-time between your ceremony and reception –and you’d rather not have everyone without a place to go- Bristow Manor can provide a warm, relaxing and intimate pre-reception area for your guests.

Can I order children’s meals or special meals?
Absolutely, no appetite is too small. We offer a variety of choices for the younger guests. We also provide customized meals for vegetarians or any guest who may have specific dietary restrictions. We want to ensure that each of your guests, from the youngest to the oldest, begins their post dinner dancing with lots of energy.

Are there hotels in the area?
Yes there are several hotels in the area. For your convenience, we will provide you with a list of nearby hotels, all of which are located 10 minutes from the club. The recommended hotels offer a variety of amenities and special rates for our guests.
